Earlier in his career, Yiannis worked with two of Greece’s largest financial institutions -Piraeus Bank and
Alpha Bank- where he was responsible for overseeing extensive due diligence on property transactions.
This experience gave him a detailed understanding of the rigorous legal checks required to protect
property-related investments.
Today, he applies the same careful standards to his work with private clients, examining the legal status of
properties, identifying potential issues and helping buyers make informed decisions.
Alongside his legal career, Yiannis broadened his expertise through a Master’s degree in Building Surveying
from London South Bank University (LSBU) and professional experience in the United Kingdom.
Reflecting his longstanding interest in buildings and construction, this additional perspective complements
his legal experience and helps him recognise issues that may require further technical investigation.
He works closely with relevant qualified professionals where specialist surveying or engineering advice is needed.
Fluent in English, Greek and Italian, Yiannis has worked extensively with international clients purchasing
property in Greece.
He understands the particular challenges faced by overseas buyers, from unfamiliar procedures and
documentation to coordinating a transaction from abroad.
His aim is to provide clear communication, practical guidance and consistent legal support throughout the
